Coaching for individuals

Choose better, get seen, move up

You are good at your job. You work hard. And somehow the career is not moving, the balance is off and the expectations keep rising. MAP and 1:1 coaching with CM4C help you understand what is really going on, so you can make better choices instead of just working harder.

If any of this sounds familiar, you are in the right place

  • You are stuck at a level while people with less to offer move past you
  • Work takes so much of you that there is nothing left for the rest of your life
  • Everyone expects a lot from you, and the results still do not reflect the effort
  • You are frustrated, and you cannot quite name why
  • You want the role your line manager has now, and you want to be ready for it

None of this means something is wrong with you. It usually means you are running on a mindset and habits that got you here and will not get you there. That is exactly what we work on.

Four things that change when you work with CM4C

CM4C stands for Coaching and Mentoring for Change. The four Cs are the shifts every client makes, whether in a MAP cohort or 1:1. They draw on emotional intelligence, cultural intelligence and what neuroscience tells us about how people actually change.

  • Communication

Being understood, not just heard. You will learn how you come across when you are calm and when you are under pressure, and how to say what you mean to the people who decide your future, in a way they can hear.

    Leaders who are understood

You probably know what you want to say. The question is whether the people who matter can hear it. Under pressure most of us default to a version of ourselves that is louder, quieter, sharper or vaguer than we intend, and that version is the one others remember.

In MAP you start with data about yourself: how you lead when you are at your best, how you lead when you are stressed, and the gap between how you see yourself and how others experience you. Then we work on regulating yourself in the moment, reading the person in front of you, and adapting your message so it lands. Not becoming someone else. Becoming a clearer version of you.

The result is that you get heard in the meetings that shape your career, and you stop wondering afterwards why the point you made did not go anywhere.

  • Change

Your brain treats change as a threat before it treats it as an opportunity. You will understand your own reactions to uncertainty, learn to calm the part of you that resists, and start making the moves you have been putting off.

Leaders who can move, and take others with them

You have been meaning to make a change for a while. A conversation, a decision, a move. Understanding why you have not made it yet is the first step, and it is usually not laziness or lack of courage. It is a nervous system doing exactly what it was designed to do: keeping you where it is safe.

In MAP you learn your own pattern. How you respond to uncertainty, what pressure does to your judgement, which strengths turn into liabilities when you are stretched. With that awareness, and with a cohort that will not let you hide, you start making the moves you have been putting off, in a way that is deliberate rather than reactive.

Change stops being something that happens to you and becomes something you lead, starting with yourself.

  • Culture

You work with people who see the world differently from you. Cultural intelligence helps you understand your own worldview, read theirs and build the trust that makes collaboration easier, whatever the passport or the generation.

    Leaders who work across difference

Every day you work with people who see the world differently from you. Different countries, different generations, different ideas about what respect, directness and commitment look like. When something does not land, it is easy to assume the problem is them. Often it is simply a difference in lenses.

In MAP you assess your own cultural intelligence and discover the worldview that shapes how you lead and how you judge others. Then you learn to recognise other lenses quickly, adapt without losing yourself, and build trust with people who would otherwise keep you at arms length.

This is one of the least visible and most powerful career skills there is. The leaders who move up are usually the ones who can be trusted with any team, any client and any market.

  • Continuous improvement

Insight fades. Habits last. You will leave with a practice you can keep, not just a set of notes, so the progress you make keeps building long after the programme ends.

    Leaders who keep getting better

You have had insights before. A book, a course, a conversation that changed how you saw things for a week. Then the week ended. That is not a character flaw. It is how the brain works: a new way of operating needs repetition and feedback before it becomes the way you operate.

MAP builds that in. Practice between sessions, a cohort that notices whether you did what you said you would, and an integration plan for the 90 days after the programme so the progress keeps going when nobody is watching. You leave with a practice, not just a set of notes.

The point is not to finish a programme. The point is to become someone who keeps improving, on purpose, for the rest of your career.

MAP: Mindset, Awareness, Progress

A programme that starts with who you actually are

MAP is a neuroscience informed leadership programme built around you. It begins with validated assessments that show how you lead under stress, what your personality patterns are doing for and against you, how you work across cultures and where your blind spots sit. Each one is debriefed with Sabine in a private 1:1 session.

Then you join a small cohort of peers for six modules on mindset, emotional self management, energy, communication, influence and sustaining progress. You are challenged, supported and held to your own goals by people who understand your level.

By the end you know yourself and your real goals better, you are more visible for the right reasons, and you know how to talk to whom, in which way, to get what you want.

Prefer to work one to one?

Private coaching with Sabine is for leaders who want a confidential space to work on one thing that matters: a promotion, a difficult transition, a relationship at work that is costing you, or the question of what you actually want next. Engagements are assessment informed and typically run for six months.
