Especially in the GCC, the workforce is comprised of employees from diverse nationalities.
Even though employees have shared goals, shared policies to follow, and shared guidelines at work, they do have very different ways of communicating, of making decisions, and of setting priorities.
This is due to the diversity of their nationalities; as examples we can look at employees from India versus employees from Germany. India is a country that is centered around family and community values, Germany on the other hand is more individualistic and based on rules.
Typically, Indians communicate in a very indirect way, using metaphors, and avoiding direct feedback. Germans communicate the opposite way; very straight forward, very direct, and not shying away from feedback.
Bringing these two nationalities together at work (but not only there) presents challenges in communication, in performance reviews, or feedback conversations.
In team assessments, you can learn how to adapt to one another and how to improve your communication and cooperation.
Beyond your organization, you will be equipped to understand preferences of clients and other stakeholders.
